- Cook 1 pound ground beef just until not pink (do not brown) and drain grease.
- Add 1/2 to 1 c. of ketchup to cooked beef and cook until mixed through.
- Top on pre-baked whole wheat pizza crust.
- Add chopped onions and peppers (and/or cheese) and bake at 425F for another 10 minutes or until cheese/crust is golden brown on edges.
Yum. The kids would love this. Thanks for the idea, Mel. It’s been forever since we did sloppy joes.
We hadn’t had sloppy joes in forever either, but I had already fed the sourdough starter for pizza crust for tonight, so I decided to combine the two ideas. It worked well.
The salad dressing was a combo of balsamic vinaigrette and honey mustard.
Cool. Thanks!
What dressing is on your salad?
