My exams are finished! Thanks to everyone who prayed! I ended up with a 100% on the Nutrition final, which gave me a 96% in that class and I ended up with a 97% in Anatomy & Physiology! I truly enjoyed both classes! I’m just ready for a break for a bit before hitting the books again. I plan on ordering the ACEFitness.org certification materials and doing the self-study method to get my Personal Trainer certification.
After staying up late the last several nights studying, I’m ready for an earlier bedtime tonight! Bryan had to work late tonight, and since we carpool, I got to walk around downtown for a little while. I walked about a mile and ended up in the Creative Health store. It’s an all-natural store in downtown Greenville. I’ve gone there for teas and various nutrition supplements in the past. So, I thought I’d stop in. Hopefully in the next few weeks you’ll see a guest post from one of their staff members about whole body cleansing! One of my readers suggested this topic, and since I’m not an expert, I thought I’d find an expert to speak to the point. I’m very excited to see what they’ll share!
In the meantime, I knew I had plans to workout with Jan and Rachel at 7:30 tonight, so dinner had to be quick. I also knew that Bryan needed some extra produce in his diet, so I did some green beans with garlic and a pinch of salt and pepper (Bryan told me I had to do the green beans this way every time going forward), and then I did a box of mac ‘n’ cheese with pre-cooked chicken cubes and frozen spinach! I cooked the pasta in boiling water for 7 minutes, then added the chicken and spinach for the last 2-3 minutes, to heat it through. Drain and prepare the rest according to the package directions, and it turned out a pretty healthful dinner! I served it with a glass of raspberry pomegranate juice for an extra vitamin boost.
I ate a few bites before heading out the door to workout. It was a great and tough workout, especially since I’ve been slightly out of the loop the last few days. We did the whole Biggest Loser Boot Camp DVD tonight (well, it played the whole time; we each did as much as we could, which honestly was most of it). I came home and finished my dinner, read my Bible, and am blogging a bit before heading up to take a quick bath and crash into my amazing mattress! And it’s raining really hard right now, so I want to make sure I fall asleep while it’s still raining. Such a wonderful noise to fall asleep to…so restful! Good night!
