I don’t know why a short work week always makes me more tired. Maybe it’s because we try to cram 5 work days into 4. Regardless, I’m ready for the weekend. And determined to get in some good workouts to boot! Oh, and I get my first facial tomorrow morning! Should be fun!
In keeping with my more aggressive look at counting calories, here is my meal plan for today:
Breakfast: 6 oz Non-fat Pomegranate Chobani Greek Yogurt, 1 banana, green tea.
Break: Organic Tazo Chai Tea.
Lunch: 1 c. Organic Whole Wheat Pasta, 3/4 c. Organic Tomato Sauce with Basil, 3 oz. Ground Beef Chuck.
Dinner: 1.5 c. shredded lettuce (from my garden), 1 organic carrot, 1/4 avocado, 1/2 oz. raisins, 1/2 oz. olives, and some wax peppers with 1 Tbsp. of Creamy Greek Dressing, 1 medium slice of homemade garlic cheddar sourdough bread with 1 pat of butter.
Totals for today: 1317 calories, 187 g carb, 43 g fat, 55 g protein (all within the low end of my daily goal ranges).
