This is my first week of Pesco-Ovo-Lacto-Vegetarianism, and so far it’s going well. I’m still able to eat the right amount of calories and stay within the right amounts per food group (carb, fat, and protein). I’m allowing myself fish, eggs and dairy products this month, so that’s helped. And I love eating all the fresh produce!
Breakfast was an organic peanut butter and jelly sandwich and some dried plums, along with my free coffee from Liquid Highway (Tweet about @liquidhighway for a free small coffee on Tuesdays).
Morning snack was an apple and an orange. And for lunch I had 1/2 of a veggie sub from Jimmy John’s and a bowl of Imagine Organic Butternut Squash Soup. Delicious!
I’ve had my green tea for the afternoon, so I’m ready to drink my Nalgene of water before Girls on the Run tonight. I hope we get to run outside and that I get to run with the girls. I need it! It’s going to be a busy week. Happy Tuesday!
