One of my long standing goals is to publish a cookbook before I die, so to help me reach my goal, I am starting by sharing the recipes I have created and the experiences I have gained along this journey.
In the busyness of life, I find it extremely valuable and important to take time to share meals with family and friends. My favorite place in the world to be is in the kitchen.
One of my earliest childhood memories is at the age of 4, sitting on my mother’s countertop, helping her add ingredients, and stir them together (while sneaking sips of coffee from her cup). Many a lesson has been learned sitting on that kitchen counter…talks about God, and guys, and goals… And even now, I love going home to my mother’s kitchen, hopping up on the countertop in front of the corner cabinet, coffee in hand, and chatting with my mother, while helping her cook.
So, grab your cup of coffee, and hop up on my countertop, as I share memories and recipes and maybe even a little of my mother’s advice…
