Mine started about two years ago. I reached my all-time high weight and decided to get serious about nutrition and exercise. Meanwhile, I also reached my all-time high stress levels. Funny how the two go hand in hand. It was time to eliminate things from my hectic schedule and prioritize the aspects that remained.
I started doing more personal research too. Here’s 10 aspects of life from www.achieve-goal-setting-success.com:

Other resources categorize life aspects as spiritual, mental, physical, social, and emotional. However you categorize them, each aspect needs to be evaluated. At least, that’s what I’m learning. Sit down and evaluate each one, then pick ONE or TWO and key in. Don’t try to change every aspect all at once. It’s too easy to get frustrated and overwhelmed that way.
The first aspect I focused on was my health. It was time to get serious about nutrition & exercise.
